Responsibilities
- Provide support and care to children and young people with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs in a residential setting.
- Develop and implement individual support plans tailored to the needs of each child.
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living skills.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, therapists, and other professionals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.

- At least 6 months of paid experience as a support worker in a children's setting in the UK within the last 3 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and understanding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Enhanced children/adult DBS on the update service (you can apply for one during registration).
- Experience working with children with autism and complex needs is advantageous.
