Job Title: Fostering Social Worker
Hourly Rate: 33.30
Weekly Hours: 18.5 or 37
Location: Shropshire Council
Key Requirements
- Regular supervision sessions with carers to address ongoing issues, review placements, and provide emotional/therapeutic support.
- Acting as a point of contact for foster carers when they need assistance or advice.
- Checking that foster carers meet National Minimum Standards and Fostering Regulations.
- Maintaining necessary paperwork, safe care plans, risk assessments, learning & development plans.
- Identifying gaps in foster carers' skills or knowledge and putting together training or development plans.
- Helping carers with safe care planning, risk assessments.
Skills & Experience
- A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- UK driving license
- 3 Years post qualifying experience
