About the Role:
Aspire are currently working in partnership with a specialist school that caters for pupils with a diagnosis of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, as well as additional complex needs such as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with a range of complex needs in both 1:1 and group settings
- Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of tailored learning activities
- Helping to manage behaviour in a calm, consistent, and supportive manner
- Contributing to the creation of a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Supporting pupils' emotional regulation and social development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly SEMH, MLD, ASD, or ADHD
- A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team
-A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through us)
