The Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced TIG Welder to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and repair of precision stainless steel and carbon steel conveyor belts and solid steel belts, both at the client's facility and on-site at customer locations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
* Performing TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel conveyor belts and solid steel belts
* Assembling and installing systems in line with detailed engineering drawings
* Attending customer sites to carry out welding, repairs, and installation work
* Producing high-quality work with attention to detail and precision
* Working independently and collaboratively within the engineering team
* Maintaining provided tools and equipment to a high standard

Requirements
Essential:
* Demonstrable TIG welding experience with stainless steel and carbon steel
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
* Willingness to travel throughout the UK, including early starts and occasional overnight stays
* Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and pride in workmanship
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Previous experience working on conveyor belts or steel belt machinery
* Knowledge of food-grade or heat-resistant materials
* Possession of a CSCS card or other relevant site safety certifications
