Job Purpose / Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Data Support person to join the Maintenance Team within the site Comm-Ops Directorate. Based at Hinkley Point C and associated developments you will be part of an expanding multidiscipline team responsible for planning and executing maintenance on equipment that will be required to build, commission and operate Hinkley Point C Power Station. The role will primarily be focused on Data extraction and assembling into a data set that is aligned with our business rules and fit for submission to Asset Suite 9 (The chosen EAM product of HPC). The successful candidate will be responsible for populating the Master Materials Catalogue along with associated attributes within HPC's EAM tool.

  • Maintain the accuracy of the Equipment and Materials Catalogue data in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Tool
  • Provide a legible meaningful description for the Equipment and Materials in the Catalogue
  • Populate the receipting section of AS9 where required to assist with the shipping of Equipment and Material to site
  • Check documentation in our EDMS programme for the appropriate information to support lifecycle management in HPC.
  • Provide guidance to other data support team members on how to correctly describe a piece of Equipment or Material
  • Liaise with stakeholders in support of decision making around data submissions

To succeed you will need

  • Strong attention to detail when working with data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively share findings with shareholders
  • A solid understanding of data sources, data organisation and storage
  • Strong IT skills, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Experience of working with large data sets
  • Knowledge of Power Bi


Qualifications & Experience

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience of Asset Suite 9 would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of the HPC project would be an advantage
