ESTIMATOR FACILITIES MAINTENANCE

LOCATION: London (4 days out on the road) Dartford office (1 days a week). You may be looking for Estimator jobs in Dartford, London, Kent.

SALARY: Up to £50K basic, depending on experience benefits, training & pension.

HOURS:Permanent, full time.Monday- Friday, 9.00am- 5.00pm

As a dedicated Estimator with trades experience in Facilities Management, Maintenance, or M&E services you will play a key role in the estimation process, providing accurate cost assessments for a range of property maintenance projects.

With regular interaction with clients through meetings and site visits, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as a solid understanding of cost control and how to analyse project specifications and requirements effectively to produce detailed and accurate estimates.

Day to day duties will include:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents.

Analyse project requirements to determine the necessary resources, including materials, labour, and equipment.

Collaborate with team to develop budgets and timelines that align with client expectations.

Conduct thorough market research to obtain pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors.

Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of all estimates, revisions, and communications related to pricing- filing efficiently as you go.

Ensure all estimates comply with client standards and project specifications.

You may be currently working as an Estimator or have developed a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance / Facilities Management Estimating through a long-standing career in Construction Maintenance, Property Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Facilities Management or similar. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and apply your expertise in a new role, we would love to hear from you.

You will ideally have technical estimating experience, confident communicating with clients to understand their needs and expectations around project costs, personable, analytical, and a strong eye for detail, good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.
