Building SurveyorPermanentSouth London£60,000 per annumSummaryMorgan Hunt is seeking a proactive, technically skilled Building Surveyor to join a dedicated Property Services team for a South London based Housing Association. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving our housing stock, ensuring our residents live in safe, high-quality homes.Key Responsibilities
- Leading major and cyclical works programmes.
- Managing complex repairs, disrepair claims, and void inspections.
- Supporting stock condition surveys and asset data accuracy.
- Taking the lead on damp, condensation and mould (DCM) cases.
- Providing expert technical support on responsive repairs.
About you
- Proven experience in property surveying or building maintenance
- Strong knowledge of DCM management and disrepair legislation
- Experience in contract management, procurement and inspections
- Great project planning and IT skills (especially Excel)
- A technical qualification and ideally membership of RICS, CIOB or similar
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
