Brief
T&I Electrician needed for a large facilities management organisation based in Sidcup who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded T&I Electrician that takes pride in their work with in-depth electrical Testing & Inspecting knowledge. The successful candidate would desirably have a relevant qualification- i.e. city & guilds, 18th edition and a 2391 ticket etc. and have a keen interest in progressing in their career. If you have a Higher national Diploma / Certificate it would also be seen as a plus.

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the T&I electrician will include:
- Carry out scheduled Electrical testing and Inspection maintenance tasks including but not limited to Emergency Lighting, ECIR, Illumination Levels, Infra-Red, Motors, PAT, Static Discharge, Lightning Protection.
- Carry out repairs and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice
- Provide input into and management of the planned maintenance schedule, ensuring associated work tasks are completed in accordance with the agreed PPM planner, SLA and KPI targets
- Complete PPM and reactive works activities in accordance with contract requirements, and in line with company competency appointment(s)
- Supervise works carried out by specialist sub-contractors, reporting anomalies to the Contract Supervisor / Site Management
- Safely and efficiently maintaining (or supervising the maintenance by third party contractors of) existing plant and equipment
- Extensive knowledge of Electrical Testing and Inspection including verification of single & 3- phase electrical systems on a large-scale industrial enterprise
What experience you need to be the successful T&I Electrician:
- Skills including the use of: Motors, switch gear, control panels, general electrical maintenance duties, pat resting, emergency lighting.
- ONC/C&G or equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline
- C&G 2391, or equivalent Testing & Inspection
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
- CMMS (SAM FM) (Desirable)
- HND/HNC Electrical Qualification (Desirable)
- Valid Driving License
