The Paxton Installation Engineer Role:
As a Paxton Installation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in installing and maintaining Paxton access control systems at client sites. Your work will ensure security, reliability, and excellent customer experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and configuring new Paxton access control systems
- Setting up hardware and software to client requirements
- Conducting site surveys and identifying installation needs
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Ensuring all work meets industry and safety standards
- Training clients on system use and providing ongoing support
- This is a hands-on, client-facing role where your expertise and professionalism will directly impact our clients reputation and client satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years’ experience with Paxton access control systems and related security hardware
- Strong technical skills in IT support, hardware configuration, and software installation
- Knowledge of conducting site surveys and troubleshooting technical issues
- Cat6 and Cat6A installation experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and represent the company professionally on client sites
- Relevant IT/technical certifications (desirable but not essential)
