Quantity Surveyor – Planned Social Housing Refurbishment
Location: Sidcup, Kent
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (1hr lunch)

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a well-established property services contractor with a proud track record in public sector housing? An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of a dedicated and growing team delivering high-quality refurbishment works across planned social housing projects in the South East.

This is a fantastic chance to take ownership of your projects from pre-contract through to final account, working on site and from the office as part of a collaborative contract team.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial and commercial aspects of multiple planned maintenance contracts. Your duties will include:

  • Attending site to assess works, take condition survey photographs, and carry out measurements as required.

  • Preparing tender submissions and pricing variations accurately.

  • Providing monthly valuations and managing final accounts.

  • Working closely with subcontractors to ensure pricing reflects all safety and scope requirements.

  • Liaising directly with clients to provide estimates for additional works.

  • Supporting the contract team in post-project performance assessments.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.

  • A recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
