Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to children with special educational needs.
  • Assist in planning and implementing personalised learning plans for students.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and teachers.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) or experience as an SEN HLTA.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
  • A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting learning.
  • Knowledge of various SEN strategies and interventions is desirable.
