I am currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a finance team. This pivotal role involves providing key financial information to support decision-making within the organisation, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reports, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
- Offer professional judgement on financial matters and advise on ways of improving business performance.
- Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers.
- Liaise with managerial staff and other colleagues to provide a support service to the company’s core business functions.
- Implement financial controls and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Participate in budget setting and forecasting processes.
- Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts.
- Part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a management accounting role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
