We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join our team. Working closely with the Accounts Manager and the Assistant Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our back-office functions. Your contributions will directly support our legal team in maintaining efficient administrative and financial processes, helping us achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Junior Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Accounts Manager with the inputting of supplier invoices into our case management system.
  • Checking payment slips against the ledger before sending them for payment.
  • Identifying discrepancies and highlighting them to the Accounts Manager.
  • Ensuring files have no client residual balances.
  • Reconciling search payments.
  • Monitoring post-completion payments.
  • Liaising with the Assistant Practice Manager to support archiving and records management.
  • Reconciling land registry payments.
  • Maintaining confidential filing and records management.
