Our clientare a leading supplier of aluminium and magnesium castings for the aerospace and defence industries.They are looking for a hard working and conscientious individual to join their team on a long-term basis.
As a Production Operative in the Fettling Departmentyou will:
- Use belt sanders and grinders to flatten surfaces, smooth rough edges and remove other imperfections.
- Useair and hand tools to dress welds and prepare parts for inspection.
- Inspect castings for obvious defects to ensure they meet quality standards and raise any issues to supervisors
- Work with the wider team to ensure timely completion of jobs.
As a Production Operative in the Fettling Departmentyou will need:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in the operation of hand tools
- Good attention to detail
Hours of work
Monday-Thursday (Apply online only) and Friday (Apply online only). 38Hours
Benefits include free on-site parking, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays and pension.
