About the Role

NEOS Engineering is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading construction and plant machinery business for a dynamic Sales Development Representative / Inside Sales Manager.

This full-time on-site position within the Kent depot, designed to take ownership of all digital sales, online marketing activity and customer engagement - areas currently shared between the Sales Manager and Sales Administrator.

Working directly under the Managing Director, this position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to drive online growth, establish a modern sales development function and make a real impact.

Ideal for:

  • A recent graduate looking to build a career in sales or marketing
  • Someone with experience in the plant, construction or attachments industry
  • A digitally minded individual who understands machinery markets (excavators up to 80 tonnes)
  • A confident communicator who thrives in an on-site, fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business through digital outreach across LinkedIn, Facebook and other online channels
  • Manage and update online platforms, including company website and social media
  • Run paid advertising campaigns such as Facebook Ads to drive targeted enquiries
  • Qualify inbound leads and direct customers to the appropriate sales contacts
  • Produce and optimise content to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
  • Report on digital performance, conversion rates and campaign effectiveness
  • Support sales growth through email marketing, digital campaigns and online strategy
  • Work exclusively on-site at the Kent depot, collaborating closely with sales teams and management
  • Work directly with the Managing Director to execute agreed online sales strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management, Business Management or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media engagement and online branding
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to connect with customers digitally and qualify sales opportunities
  • Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Must be willing to work on-site 5 days a week
  • Advantageous: experience with plant hire, construction equipment, attachments or forklifts
