Are you a passionate Nursery Teacher with QTS or EYTS, looking for a rewarding full-time opportunity in an inspiring early years setting?

Supply Desk are working with a warm, community-driven primary school in Sittingbourne that are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their nursery team. The nursery caters for children aged 3 to 4 years and is part of the school’s early years provision, offering a smooth transition into Reception.

This is a long-term position starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year (July 2026) – perfect for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or more experienced educators who are passionate about nurturing young learners at the very start of their educational journey.

Your Role Will Include:

Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
Creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
Observing and assessing children’s development to tailor teaching to individual needs.
Promoting the development of children’s social, emotional, communication, and physical skills through structured play and exploration.
Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support children's learning and wellbeing.
Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced early years team.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
Has a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and best practice.
Brings a creative and child-led approach to teaching.
Is confident in building relationships and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
Is committed to safeguarding and the welfare of all children.
Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
