Are you a passionate Nursery Teacher with QTS or EYTS, looking for a rewarding full-time opportunity in an inspiring early years setting?
Supply Desk are working with a warm, community-driven primary school in Sittingbourne that are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their nursery team. The nursery caters for children aged 3 to 4 years and is part of the school’s early years provision, offering a smooth transition into Reception.
This is a long-term position starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year (July 2026) – perfect for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or more experienced educators who are passionate about nurturing young learners at the very start of their educational journey.
Your Role Will Include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
- Observing and assessing children’s development to tailor teaching to individual needs.
- Promoting the development of children’s social, emotional, communication, and physical skills through structured play and exploration.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support children's learning and wellbeing.
- Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced early years team.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
- Has a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and best practice.
- Brings a creative and child-led approach to teaching.
- Is confident in building relationships and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Is committed to safeguarding and the welfare of all children.
- Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
