Venrec is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for a role based in Sittingbourne/Maidstone, focusing on refrigerated distribution.
Candidates must possess a Full Class 1 licence, a valid Digital Tachograph, and a CPC card, with no more than 6 points on their driving record.
The position involves 12-hour shifts with flexibility in start times, primarily driving with minimal load handling.
Pay rates are £16.70 for days and £17.80 for nights, with higher rates for weekends and bank holidays, all on a PAYE basis.

Venrec are recruiting on behalf of our client for Class 1 Drivers based in Sittingbourne/ MaidstoneThe role will entail:- Refrigerated distribution across a variety of locations.- Delivering to RDC’s and collections to and from farms.- The shifts are on average 12 hours long.- Flexibility for shift start times.- Mainly a driving role with minimal handling of the load.A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:- Full Class 1 licence (New passes are welcome to apply).- Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.- No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).- Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.- Good roadcraft/ Geographical knowledge.Shifts available are Friday until Monday with a mixture of days & night shifts starting from 01:00 hours to 11.00pm and our client has regular ongoing hours.All candidates are required to pass our clients assessment prior to commencing which includes a written and practical driving test. (2–3-hour assessments are being held between Monday to Friday)Pay Rates:- Days - £16.70 (Monday to Friday).- Nights - £17.80 (Monday to Friday).- Saturday hours – Day £20.00/ Night £20.70.- Sunday hours + Bank Holiday – Day £23.62/ Nights £25.87.The rates are all PAYE and holiday accrual is in addition to the above rates and is paid weekly.
