Production Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sittingbourne | Hours: Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday

We're looking for a skilled Production Maintenance Engineer to join a busy team. You'll take charge of keeping production equipment running smoothly, carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and helping improve machine performance.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain and repair production equipment.
  • Develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Troubleshoot faults and minimise downtime.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and manage essential spare parts.
  • Work safely and ensure all equipment meets health & safety standards.
  • Support training of new team members and assist during absences or peak periods.

Skills & experience:

  • Engineering apprenticeship or HNC.
  • Multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • 3+ years' experience in a maintenance team.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems and industrial automation.

Desirable: experience with robot programming
