Job Overview:We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic and growing primary school in Sittingbourne. As an HLTA, you'll play a key role in supporting the classroom teacher while also taking on the responsibility of leading small groups and individual lessons. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the delivery of high-quality lessons in the absence of the teacher
• Provide tailored support for students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis
• Apply your HLTA qualification to ensure lessons are appropriately differentiated for students of various abilities
• Help manage classroom behaviour, maintaining a focused and respectful learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and support students' individual learning needs
• Use your initiative and creativity to engage students and foster a love of learning

What We're Looking For:

• HLTA qualified or proven experience in a primary school setting
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum, including experience with KS1 and KS2
• Confidence in leading lessons and working independently
• Ability to use positive behaviour management strategies effectively
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to inspire young learners
