About the Role

Simply Education are working with a nurturing primary school in Sittingbourne who are looking to recruit a caring and committed Inclusion Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need additional support to reach their full potential.

As an Inclusion Assistant, you'll work closely with the SENCo, class teachers, and support staff to provide tailored assistance to pupils with additional learning needs - ensuring they feel included, supported, and valued within the school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) on a one-to-one or small group basis.
  • Assist in adapting learning materials to suit individual learning styles.
  • Help promote inclusion and engagement across the classroom and wider school.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.

  • Experience supporting children with additional needs in a school setting.
  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to learning support.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed and feel included.
  • Relevant qualifications or training (desired but not essential).
