Key responsibilities of a Yard Packaging Worker:

Picking and Packing:

Locating and retrieving items from storage, packing them into boxes or containers, and preparing them for shipment.

Loading and Unloading:

Loading goods onto delivery vehicles (lorries, vans) and unloading incoming shipments.

Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, moving supplies to storage areas, and ensuring sufficient stock is available.

Quality Control: Inspecting goods for damage or defects before packing, ensuring packaging is secure and labeled correctly, and reporting any issues to supervisors.

Safety and Compliance: Following safety protocols, ensuring equipment is used correctly and maintained, and adhering to company procedures.
