Main Purpose

We are seeking skilled Fabricator Welders to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fabrication and welding duties with a strong emphasis on quality. TIG and MIG welding experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication and Welding:Perform TIG and MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel for various systems and clients.
  • Interpretation of Documentation:Read, interpret, and fabricate from sketches, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.
  • Steel Construction Layout:Efficiently lay out steel construction with a high degree of accuracy prior to welding.
  • Component Handling:Measure, cut, bend, and weld steel components for construction.

Key Tasks and Abilities

  • Experience:Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  • Team Collaboration:Work effectively as part of a small, well-established team and with other trades.
  • Technical and Practical Skills:Strong technical skills combined with practical know-how, with a willingness to pass on skills and knowledge.
  • Initiative and Teamwork:Ability to work to timescales, using own initiative both individually and as part of a team.
