Role Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the daily execution and refinement of sustainability initiatives on a major construction site.
- Demonstrate understanding of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and Whole Life Carbon accounting.
- Assist in the creation and ongoing review of the Carbon Management Plan.
- Track and report emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 categories.
- Deliver toolbox talks and briefings focused on sustainability and carbon reduction.
- Help measure and analyse sustainability indicators such as carbon output, waste levels, and energy usage.
- Work with the Sustainability Manager to compile stakeholder reports.
- Collect and organise data to support sustainability-related decision-making.
- Engage with contractors and subcontractors to encourage participation in environmental programmes.
- Aid in the design and facilitation of sustainability training for site staff.
- Keep informed of new developments, technologies, and best practices in sustainable construction.
- Conduct weekly site audits to assess sustainability compliance.
- Assist in achieving project-specific sustainability KPIs.
Requirements:
- Engineering related or environmental discipline degree.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proactive attitude.
- A valid driving license and access to personal transport are required for site travel.
