Role Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the daily execution and refinement of sustainability initiatives on a major construction site.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and Whole Life Carbon accounting.
  • Assist in the creation and ongoing review of the Carbon Management Plan.
  • Track and report emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 categories.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and briefings focused on sustainability and carbon reduction.
  • Help measure and analyse sustainability indicators such as carbon output, waste levels, and energy usage.
  • Work with the Sustainability Manager to compile stakeholder reports.
  • Collect and organise data to support sustainability-related decision-making.
  • Engage with contractors and subcontractors to encourage participation in environmental programmes.
  • Aid in the design and facilitation of sustainability training for site staff.
  • Keep informed of new developments, technologies, and best practices in sustainable construction.
  • Conduct weekly site audits to assess sustainability compliance.
  • Assist in achieving project-specific sustainability KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Engineering related or environmental discipline degree.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • A valid driving license and access to personal transport are required for site travel.
