Main purpose of Job: To oversee effective implementation of the Company’s Quality Systems.
Main Duties
- Liaise with and report to the Technical Director in all aspects of the job role.
- Maintain all aspects of the Quality Assurance systems and procedures in the Packing Centre, as laid down in the Quality Manual.
- Ensure compliance with all CCP’s, as identified and detailed in the HAACP plan, detailed in the Quality Manual.
- Always ensure that the on-site ‘clean as you go’ procedure is followed. Ensure that any egg or debris on the floor is cleared immediately.
- Â Carry out inspections as laid down in the QA Manual and procedures, and where necessary to provide KPI reports for the Management Team.
- Ensure all equipment is kept in a clean and well-maintained & calibrated condition, to ensure accurate monitoring of egg quality is achieved on a consistent basis.
- Maintain all aspects of the job structure and report anything out of spec to the Technical Director.
- Assist DEFRA inspectors in their duties during unannounced site inspectors.
- Be responsible for Health & Safety of all staff in the department and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Report all hygiene policy infringements to appropriate PC Management Team members for action.
Working hours will be 6am - 4pm
