Description
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain quality control protocols
- Analyse manufacturing processes and materials for quality risk factors
- Drive solutions to reduce cost and improve quality
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop quality control metrics
- Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure projects are completed to specifications
- Conduct audits and create reports to determine compliance with quality and safety standards
Profile
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
- Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans.
- Knowledge of problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 why's, RCA).
- Knowledge of IMDS.
- Computer literate including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training as and when required.
- Driving license is essential.
