- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Process purchase and sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations and posting transactions
- Assist with VAT returns and other statutory reporting
- Maintain supplier and customer records
- Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Support month-end processes and reporting
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams as needed
- Help ensure compliance with internal financial controls
- Ad hoc finance and admin tasks as required
- Ideally studying AAT or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance assistant role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good knowledge of accounting software - QuickBooks experience desirable
- Comfortable working independently and managing workload
- Excellent Excel and general IT skills
- Salary up to £30k-35k (pro rata)
