The candidate should be adept at analysing manufacturing processes and materials for quality risk factors, driving solutions and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain quality control protocols
  • Analyse manufacturing processes and materials for quality risk factors
  • Drive solutions to reduce cost and improve quality
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop quality control metrics
  • Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure projects are completed to specifications
  • Conduct audits and create reports to determine compliance with quality and safety standards

Profile

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 why's, RCA).
  • Knowledge of IMDS.
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training as and when required.
  • Driving license is essential.
