This company is a leading precision engineering company specialising in CNC machining, advanced surface coatings, and component refurbishment for demanding industries - including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Aerospace, and Renewables. Since their establishment over 15 years ago, they have gone from strength to strength and are now looking to expand their production capabilities to keep up with ever increasing demand.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the CNC turning process - from machine setup and programming (using one CNC control) to precision machining and final inspection. You'll work on a variety of complex components, producing high-quality turned parts to tight tolerances in materials such as stainless steel, Inconel, and other high-performance alloys
This role would suit someone with a solid background in CNC turning, with the ability to confidently set, program and operate CNC machines efficiently, that is looking for a Days based, Monday-Friday role.
The Person
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Setter / Operator.
- Strong Fanuc programming and editing skills
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
The Person:
- Set, operate, and program CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
- Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances from technical drawings.
- Perform first-off and in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment.
- Work with a variety of materials (stainless steel, inconel, duplex, etc.).
