Electrician

Location: Skelmersdale and surrounding areas
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per year + van& fuel card
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced and fully qualified Electrician based in or near Salford? Do you hold an ECS Gold Card, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and 2391 Testing & Inspection? You could earn 40,000-45,000 per year, working 40 hours per week with our client!

About the Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add to their team. They are seeking a competent Electrician with 5+ years' post-qualification experience who enjoys working in a variety of environments, undertaking small installation projects and reactive maintenance tasks across Commercial, Industrial & Rail environments.

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Small installation projects and planned/reactive maintenance
• Fault finding and testing
• Working with metal containment systems (galv trunking, tray, conduit)
• Installing SWA & singles cables, Schneider Merlin Three Phase Distribution Boards
• High-level lighting installation (including use of MEWPs)
• Completing testing and certification of your own work
• Maintaining safe working practices

• Flexibility and willingness to deliver varied projects daily

Essential Qualifications:

• ECS Gold Card
• City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 with full Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing
• IPAF / PASMA
• Full UK Driving Licence

Pay & Benefits

• 40,000 - 45,000 per year (basic, with overtime expected earnings 45k+)
• 40-hour working week (Overtime: time and a half after 40 hours, double time on Sundays/Bank Holidays)
• 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays (+ your birthday off = 23 days total)
