Class 1 Driver in Skelmersdale

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our client’s expanding operation based in Skelmersdale.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a respected and professional transport team, offering long-term, ongoing work.

About the Role:

• Local and nationwide deliveries.

• Fridge work – deliveries and collections of palletised goods.

• Loading and unloading will be required.

• Work planned for 12-hour shifts, but may extend up to 15 hours, in line with driver regulations.

• Flexible shift patterns: Monday to Sunday, 24/7 operation.

• Any start times welcome – day, night, and weekend shifts available.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.

• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.

• Fridge work experience preferred but not essential.

• Valid CPC and Tacho card.
