You will be making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at-risk young people. The successful tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in a pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
Position Details:
Role: 1:1 Secondary Tutor
Subjects: Maths, English, Science
Location: In the community or pupils home (Lancaster)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: GBP25 per hour (minimum)
Hours: Flexible - between 8am and 4pm (some after-school work available)
Contract Type: Ongoing, part-time contract
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
Minimum 2 years professional references
QTS or relevant tutoring experience
Experience working with SEN pupils (preferred)
