We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experiencedWelder/Fabricatorto join their growing team in Skelmersdale
Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing business with a strong reputation for producing high-quality components for a range of industries. They pride themselves on precision, reliability, and maintaining long-term relationships with their customers. With continued growth in demand, they are now seeking skilled Welder/Fabricators to support their busy workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and welding of sheet metal components.
- MIG or TIG welding to a good standard.
- Working from engineering drawings to produce accurate work.
- Operating a variety of workshop machinery and tools safely.
- Ensuring all work is carried out to company and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.
- Good MIG or TIG welding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Hours & Pay:
- 13 to 18 per hour - to achieve the higher pay rate you would need TIG experience and be willing to do site work.
- Full-time, ongoing work.
- Opportunities for long-term employment for the right candidate.
