We are working with an organisation who possess a global footprint in the renewable energy /wind sector across 20 countries both on and offshore.

They are underway with new and existing HV Test & Termination contracts, all lumpsum time and materials based projects so they are actively looking for a Project Engineer to join the existing team at their Skelton office due to the continued success.

Essentially, they need this person to be the main cog in the machine that will bridge the gap between Project Managers and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Oversight:

    They manage the engineering and technical aspects of the project, ensuring work is completed to the required standards and specifications.

  • Team Coordination:

    They coordinate and supervise teams, ensuring everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goals.

  • Budget and Schedule Management:

    They track project budgets and schedules, ensuring the project stays within allocated resources and deadlines.

  • Quality Assurance:

    They establish quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure the project meets all relevant standards and regulations.

  • Problem Solving:

    They identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

  • Communication:

    They communicate with various stakeholders, including project managers, team members, clients, and external contractors.

  • Project Planning and Execution:

    A project engineer develops plans, sets project criteria, coordinates reviews, and ensures the proper implementation of project elements.
