A long-established, and highly respected Yorkshire law firm are looking for an experienced (4+ PQE) private client solicitor to join the team due to an upcoming retirement. Within the team, there are 11 fee earners (each with an assistant), and there is a private client presence in every office. The caseload is a really diverse mix of wills, inheritance tax planning, trust creation and administration powers of attorney, COP applications, and probate and estate admin of varying complexity. Due to the locations of the firm, there is an exposure to agriculture and with this can come large estates.With this in mind, there is a busy caseload to walk into so whilst there's no expectation to "build" a caseload, however there is still an expectation to take part in business development activities which can vary from supporting at local events or just writing on social media platforms. For this role, the person can be based out of Skipton, Barnoldswick or Silsden, the preference really is up to the individual. Reduced/part-time hours can be considered and whilst the salary is depending on experience, they are looking to pay up to £60,000 at the top end.
