Welder Fabricator

Permanent, 14.66 p/h, Skipton

MIG Welder Fabricator required for a successful manufacturer who produce a range of standard and bespoke products in mild Steel and sheet metal. The company offers a clean environment with modern facilities, working as part of a highly skilled team, they have a low staff turnover and can provide further training and development for the right candidate.

As the Fabricator Welder you will:

* Read, interpret & work to engineering drawings to produce high quality assemblies

* Fabricate metal enclosures from mild steel

* MIG welding, using long welds and making watertight

* Work on a range of structural framework

* Work with 1mm-3mm thick stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel

* Operate punching and folding machines

* Cut metal using saws and guillotines

* Work to a high-quality standard

As the Fabricator Welder you will have:

* Strong welding skills using MIG

* Experience of welding mild steel in an engineering environment

* Experience of TIG welding and working with SS and Ali is of great interest

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

* Good work ethic and keen to learn new skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* Be hard working and conscientious with a can-do attitude

Benefits:

* Monday to Thursday - 7.15 am - 4.15 pm, Friday - 7.15 am to 12.15 pm

* Permanent position - 39 hours per week
