- Producing monthly compliance reports for each home
- Supporting training and development for Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Carers
- Managing complaints and safeguarding investigations to ensure timely resolutions
- Overseeing records for pressure sores, DoLs, falls, and weights, ensuring proactive management
- Preparing for external inspections (typically one per month)
- Participating in weekend on-call duties (approximately every third weekend)
- Providing hands-on support to homes requiring additional guidance, including on-site assistance with management teams
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Deputy Manager (or similar) within elderly care
- At least one year’s experience delivering training (e.g., manual handling, fire safety, medication management, care planning)
- NVQ Level 3 in Care (or equivalent) and willingness to pursue Level 5 and/or 7 qualifications (or be a registered nurse)
- Strong computer literacy, particularly with email, Excel, and Word
- Full driving licence, comfortable with regular travel (approx. 80 miles per day)
- Willingness to work away from home Monday to Friday as needed
