The Role:

We are looking for a motivated Primary Teacher to deliver high-quality education to pupils across the Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 curriculum. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of your class, while also contributing to the wider school community. This role could become permanent depending on the person.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and differentiated lessons in line with the national primary curriculum.

  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and well-being.

  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and fellow staff members to support each child's learning journey.

  • Contribute to school activities, events, and development planning.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting, with a sound understanding of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum.

  • Qualifications: A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • Training: Strong classroom management skills, knowledge of safeguarding procedures, and experience delivering differentiated learning.

  • Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to nurture and motivate young learners.

Background Checks:

All applicants must undergo an enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce) prior to working if not already in possession of one that is registered to the update service.
