Our client based near Heathrow is looking to add an Air & Sea Operations Co-ordinator to their expanding team

Monday - Friday

This role will be an integral part of our freight logistics team. Responsible for aspects of air & sea freight exports and imports and help to develop our in house freight forwarding department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the full cycle of export and import shipments across multiple transport modes (air, sea).

路 Completing MAWB & HAWB鈥檚

路 Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers, ensuring the best possible prices and service levels.

路 Provide accurate quotations and pricing for shipments.

路 Organise and arrange collections and deliveries

路 Handle all necessary documentation for customs clearance, compliance, and shipment tracking.

路 Liaise with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.

路 Arranging A-Z of export shipments globally

路 Creating job file on in house system, keeping accurate and detailed records

路 Develop effective relationships with customers and suppliers for an effective and efficient service and communicating with clients regarding their shipment progress

路 Sending proof of exports/imports to clients

路 Support and cover import processes

路 Communicating with sales and operations team throughout the day

路 Provide administration assistance to team

路 Provide assistance throughout the business as and when required

路 Answering phones

Experience/Skills required

路 Previous experience in multimodal freight forwarding, with a focus on both export and imports

路 Strong understanding of customs procedures and international shipping regulations.

路 Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

路 Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.

路 Operational and sales (business development) experience is an advantage

路 Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

路 ASM Sequioa and CDS knowledge
