Experienced Quality Engineer urgently required to work for a world leading Aerospace and Aviation organisation based near Slough. This role is key to the business where you will be working alongside senior management to Ensure the company and all products meet UK CAA Part 145, EASA Part 145, FAA Part 145, EN 9110, EN 9120 & ISO 17025 requirements.

Within this role we are looking for a Qualified Lead Auditor who can Manage the Organisation's internal audit plan, covering product, process & safety audits, Carry out audits against the regulations & standards.

We are looking for an experienced Electronics quality engineer who ideally has a background and experience of working within the Aviation and Aerospace sectors where compliance and regulation are paramount!

You will be heavily involved in:

  • Management of the Technical Library
  • Warranty Investigations
  • Auditing
  • Raise Define and manage Corrective Actions
  • Manage the Organisation's approved vendors list, including the approval of new vendors
  • Oversight of workshop to ensure operations continually conform to the Organisation's approved airworthiness regulations.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Familiar with aerospace component maintenance within a Part-145 organisation, ideally in an electronics environment.
  • Full understanding of EASA Part-145 regulations, including Safety Management Systems
  • Excellent practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Data analysis skills, the ability to spot anomalies and trends.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills. The ability to interact and communicate with colleagues at all levels with confidence and clarity.
  • Calmness when working under pressure and adaptability when demands and requirements change.
  • Confident in facilitating meetings with senior stakeholders across all areas of the business.
  • Excellent time management skills: the ability to prioritise, to multitask and to work to tight deadlines.
