We are recruiting for a freelance Design Manager for a Tier 1 contractor based in Slough with a scheme in Newbury.

They operate in the framework and negotiated world of main contracting on schools, NHS, local authority and mixed use schemes from 10 to 40 million.

The role is to assist the bid team with detailed design analysis for detailed 2nd stage works on a new blue light project and then take the scheme out onto site.

You will be working in the regional office with the precon team consisting of an estimator, planner, project manager and commercial manager to fully investigate the design, work with external consultants, meet and discuss subcontractor's to establish best practice for process and come up with robust design process and drawings for the schemes on a long term pcsa basis.

You must have recent DBS check in place

This is an immediate start for the right candidate and could go on for 6 months plus. The role is inside scope of IR35 so will be PAYE, CIS or Umbrella basis.
