Are you an experienced electrician with a passion for mentoring others? This is your opportunity to join a leading college as an Electrical Installation Trainer, guiding apprentices to success in their careers.

In this role, you'll manage a caseload of apprentices, providing expert coaching, assessment, and mentoring to help them achieve their End Point Assessments. You'll liaise closely with employers, track progress, and ensure training meets the highest standards - while supporting apprentices with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they need to thrive.

The Role


  • Manage and support a caseload of electrical apprentices through to EPA

  • Deliver engaging coaching, mentoring, and assessment

  • Conduct regular progress reviews with apprentices and employers

  • Ensure all training meets awarding body and industry standards

  • Track off-the-job training hours and maintain accurate learner records


The Person


  • Level 3 Electrical qualification (2365, 8202, 2330, 2360)

  • 18th Edition & AM2/AM2S

  • Relevant teaching qualification (or willing to work towards)

  • Assessor Award (A1/CAVA) desirable

  • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills

  • Experience working with apprentices and employers
