Sonic Summary

We are seeking a part qualified or degree qualified accounts/finance professional for a shipping and logistics company.
The role requires strong purchase ledger experience and involves managing the purchase ledger and dealing with aged creditors.
Key responsibilities include reconciliations, petty cash management, and VAT returns, among others.
This position is fully office-based with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.

We are recruiting for a part qualified or degree qualified accounts / finance person to join our client who is a shipping & logistics company.

Strong Purchase ledger experience is required for this role and duties include:

- Overseeing and managing the purchase ledger

- Dealing with aged creditors and PL queries

- Reconciliations - Petty cash

- Uploading credit card analysis to sage

- Contra entries

- VAT returns

- Purchase orders

- Journals

- Duties to overall support the finance manager

THIS IS FULLY OFFICE BASED (NOT REMOTE OR HYBRID) Hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.30pm
