Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to its accounts team. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to the efficient operation of the department through a variety of administrative and financial tasks.
Accounts Admin Assistant Key Responsibilities:-
Carrying out general administrative tasks, including filing, managing emails, and maintaining accurate records

Preparing and sending customer statements and payment reminders

Posting payments and receipts using Sage 50 accounting software

Assisting the accounts team with routine administrative support

Reviewing and accurately processing financial and client-related information

A minimum of 2 years' experience in office administration

Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software

Previous experience in freight forwarding (preferred but not essential)

Strong organizational and communication skills, with a professional telephone manner

Excellent attention to detail and effective time management

Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
