Accounts Admin Assistant

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to its accounts team. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to the efficient operation of the department through a variety of administrative and financial tasks.

Accounts Admin Assistant Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out general administrative tasks, including filing, managing emails, and maintaining accurate records

  • Preparing and sending customer statements and payment reminders

  • Posting payments and receipts using Sage 50 accounting software

  • Assisting the accounts team with routine administrative support

  • Reviewing and accurately processing financial and client-related information

Accounts Admin Assistant Candidate Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in office administration

  • Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software

  • Previous experience in freight forwarding (preferred but not essential)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a professional telephone manner

  • Excellent attention to detail and effective time management

  • Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

  • A positive attitude, professional conduct, and eagerness to learn
