Right Now Group are proud to be representing a well-established and rapidly growing logistics business that specialises in Time Critical and Multimodal Freight Solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to step into a high-impact role focused on urgent, complex, and specialised cargo movements across Air, Road, Sea, and Customs.

Key Responsibilities - Business Development Manager
  • Secure new business across Time Critical, Air Freight, Road, Sea, and Customs offerings

  • Build and develop relationships with clients in industries such as aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing

  • Provide expert solutions for OBC (On Board Courier), NFO (Next Flight Out), Charters, Hazardous, Ro-Ro, IMDG, Military, and Project Freight

  • Present tailored proposals and close deals based on urgent or specialist cargo needs

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction

  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions

  • Stay up to date with market trends, compliance changes, and competitor activities

Experience & Requirements - Business Development Manager
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding sales

  • Strong background in Time Critical or high-value, urgent logistics is highly desirable

  • Proven track record in new business generation and key account development

  • Excellent commercial awareness, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Knowledge of customs procedures and multimodal freight essential

  • Competent in CRM systems and Microsoft Office

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to Luton HQ weekly
