Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee small works projects within a data centre environment in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity within the building and construction industry for a professional who is client-facing, presentable, and skilled at managing all aspects of project delivery. The Electrical Project Manager will ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, collaborating closely with designers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple electrical small works projects within live data centre environments.
- Oversee project design, delivery, commissioning, and close-out.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and key stakeholdersbuilding and construction sector.
- Drive project programmes, maintaining quality and meeting milestones.
- Manage budgets, risks, variations, and contract compliance.
- Promote HSEQ best practice and ensure full CDM and safety compliance.
- Prepare progress reports, RFIs, TQs, VOs, and technical submissions.
- Order materials, manage suppliers, and maintain accurate site records.
- Lead by example, supporting company values and strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
- 18th Edition & AM2S Certificates
- ECS Black Card & 2391 Testing & Inspection
- Project Management qualification (Prince2 - desirable)
- Experience with Microsoft Project and safety regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- UK driving licence & right to work in the UK
- Flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work
