Slough (with occasional travel to other sites)

The Opportunity

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established and growing engineering team, delivering high-value electrical infrastructure projects within a live food manufacturing environment.

You won’t be working on the manufacturing process itself — your focus will be on ensuring supporting infrastructure such as power distribution is designed, installed, and managed to the highest standards. With a project scope in excess of £1m and visibility across multiple sites, this is a chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced, client-led environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects in a live food production setting, to include control panels.
  • Overseeing installation of supporting infrastructure such as power distribution and site services (excluding production equipment).
  • Supervising electrical trades and contractors to ensure high standards and safe working practices.
  • Taking responsibility for H&S compliance, project timelines, and budget management (support and training available for P&L ownership).
  • Acting as a key client-facing representative, able to speak confidently about live and upcoming projects.
  • Coordinating with design teams, stakeholders, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in electrical project management or project engineering — ideally within construction, utilities, or facilities engineering.
  • Knowledge of control panels and instrumentation,
  • Comfortable managing large-scale projects (£1m+) with multiple moving parts.
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident, client-facing attitude.
  • Ability to manage both live project delivery and early-stage project discussions.
  • Willingness to learn and grow — support is available for candidates developing their leadership or commercial skills.
  • You won’t be hands-on — this role is all about overseeing, leading, and delivering.

What’s in it for You?

  • A competitive salary in the region of £60,000 – £65,000, plus car allowance.
  • The chance to lead high-value projects with genuine business impact.
  • A structured career path, with coaching available in leadership and P&L responsibility.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • A supportive, growth-oriented culture within a respected engineering team.

About the Company

You’ll be joining a business that’s deeply embedded in the food manufacturing space, known for delivering complex engineering solutions in high-care environments. With a strong pipeline of projects and a people-first approach, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their project leadership career in a hands-off, client-led role.

If you’re ready to take ownership of exciting, high-value projects—and you’re looking for a role where you can grow, lead, and make a real impact—this could be your next big move.
