About the Role
We are recruiting a Commercial Manager for a leading social housing refurbishment contractor to oversee commercial activity in planned and reactive repairs for a local authority in the Slough area. You will manage P&L, budgets, margins, and cost control; lead pricing, estimating, and contract negotiations; build strong client and supplier relationships; ensure contracts are delivered to time, cost, and quality; monitor performance and KPIs; mentor junior staff; and mitigate commercial risks.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with proven experience as a Commercial Manager in social housing or refurbishment contracting, strong financial acumen, experience managing P&L and margins, excellent stakeholder management, a strategic and proactive approach, and leadership capability. Professional qualifications (MRICS, CIOB, or equivalent) are a plus.
