Join a leading precision engineering company as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter, where you will focus primarily on CNC operations including programming, setting, and operating milling machines. Day-to-day of the role:- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
- Produce CAD drawings and undertake prototype production as part of project work.
- Participate in conventional milling, drilling, polishing, and CNC turning under the supervision of the Machine Shop Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.
- Adhere to ISO9001 quality standards and report directly to the Machine Shop Supervisor.
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller with strong programming and setting skills.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and CNC programming.
- Familiarity with the operational aspects of milling machines and lathes.
- Knowledge of conventional milling, drilling, polishing, and CNC turning.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Competitive salary based on a 42-hour work week with 38 hours paid.
- 20 days holiday per annual business year plus 8 statutory bank holidays.
- Structured working hours from Monday to Friday, with paid tea breaks.
