We have a specialist Data Centre Commissioning organisation currently seeking experienced engineers with DC experience to support their growing operations in the region.
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless execution of L2-L5 commissioning phases for state-of-the-art data centres. This role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to travel across the UK and Ireland.
- Commissioning & Testing Oversee electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality & compliance.
- Technical Documentation Maintain thorough commissioning records & reports.
- Collaboration Work closely with project teams, subcontractors & clients.
- Troubleshooting Identify & resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Safety & Compliance Adhere to health & safety regulations & industry standards.
- Relevant electrical engineering qualification (Degree/HNC/HND/NVQ Level 3)
- Experience in commissioning within a data centre environment
- Knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including LV & HV systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings & specifications
- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
- Flexibility for travel across UK & Ireland
