Overview:

My Client seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Bias Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join there dynamic team in Slough. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing electrical systems within the facilities, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Maintenance:Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance:Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and reliability of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting:Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous operation of facilities.
  • Safety Compliance:Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Documentation:Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and safety checks.
  • Coordination:Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff, contractors, and management to coordinate maintenance activities and support operational needs.
  • Emergency Response:Provide timely response to emergency breakdowns and work efficiently to resolve issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education:NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge:Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and safety regulations.
  • Skills:Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Certifications:18th Edition Wiring Regulations and other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills.
